I have run one Marathon previous to Reading this book. I did not read anything before running my first Marathon because I didnt want to get overloaded With information. Book more geared to men than women though. I did not like the fact that it was mainly in miles (without km equivalent). I knew this be||I do own a few running and triathlon text books but they are pretty hard going and rather technical If you have read any other books in the Dummies series you ll know that they are extremely good at demystifying complex subjects I imagine I ll be referring to
